I contracted to design a catalog for a plumbing wholesaler. The client wanted a 2. horizontal line separating each group of items throughout the ninety plus pages. I added the lines at the last minute, but as luck would have it, the client also decided at the last minute to add and delete items. This threw my lines off, so I had to manually move each one back into place.
To stop my griping, my husband created a font which is a line. I've been in desktop publishing for three years and this font has become a blessing. Now, I can add and delete and the lines will flow right along with the text! If you are a desktop publisher, you need Bartonline. Depending on the key you select, you can have a normal line, a double line, a dash line, etc. and its thickness is determined by the point size you give it (10-14 point is standard for me). Keys A thru K is a connected line (in various thicknesses and in single, double and triple spaced lines). Keys L thru V are the same thing except the lines are dashed (non-connecting).
For the affordable Shareware price of $15.00, you can say "no problem" to your clients and really mean it!
